Reason

i have a banned account in aao 2

i was banned for having an additional file in my system folder. it was back in the days when we had sot server guard mod running on our server.

i installed a local testserver to test the configuration of that mod before i installed it on our live gameserver. after installing it to our gameserver i forgot to remove the files out of my system folder and must have got a kick for it.

i didnt bother for quite some time about it, cause actually i never noticed my account was banned by aasa. today i got a ban on a server and their admins told me i have that linked account. that is why i know want to try everything to get it removed.

if you still have some logs about the kick that got me into this situation, then i would be happy if you could find out what MD5 was reported with the kick.

if you have that MD5 i will try to get that SSG.u server mod file from someone who still has it to proof that i didnt change that one at all!

i am playing this game for years and a lot of ppl know me and know that im not hacking or ever will do so. thats why i really wanna get rid of it.

your help is greatly appreciated!

Appeal Denied.  Ban is more than a year old and is for an exploit and violation of the EULA.

thanks for your quick response. but may i ask a couple questions? cause as you can imagine im not really happy about the results.

1.
is it really important how old the ban is? i mean its messing up my background and as i said i just noticed it couple days ago...

2.
exploit and violation of EULA. i have a problem with that. when i was playing and got the kick the system was NOT active cause its a server mod and no hack, cheat or whatever. so i got banned for just having a file in my system folder that actually isnt doing anything!

when im running a server using that, ok, im breaking the eula and maybe exploiting.

but the kick and the resulting ban are based on a situation where i didnt exploit and didnt break any rule. (besides the one to not have any files in your folder that dont belong there)

i sent you the files by PM to have a look at it. its not doing anything to my gameplay. its just a server mod.


thanks again for your time. im sry to bother you, but im known as someone whos not tolerating cheaters at all. and now im banned myself and getting called a cheater, even if i didnt do anything to have an unfair advantage in the game.....
